Ursprünglich gab sich die Band aus Halle an der Saale den Namen „Die Greenhorns“, weil alle Mitglieder von unterschiedlichen musikalischen Einflüssen geprägt waren und sich erstmalig an die irische Musik heranwagten. Davon, dass dies inzwischen bestens klappt, kann man sich auf ihrer neuen CD „On the Bus to Galway Bay“ überzeugen.
