Carbon Leaf aus den USA spielen ihre sehr eigene Folk – Rock – Mixtur bereits seit 1992. Ghost Dragon Attacks Castle ist das achte Studioalbum der Band aus Virginia und erschien auf dem eigenen Label Constant Ivy Music. Außerdem scheint die Band ein Faible für Live-Auftritte zu haben.
